The Carter Jackson Trio combines diverse backgrounds and musical experience to offer a pleasing mix of jazz classics and smooth to fusion modern music. All verteran and formally trained musicians, the band brings years of musical experience from coast to coast geographically, and over musical genres including jazz, classical, rock, R&B, soul and fusion, to capture a unique, progressive style that's fun and easy to listen to regardless of your musical background.
Songs in the Carter Jackson Trio's broad repertoire include classic jazz tunes of such greats as Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis and John Coltrane, as well as pieces by artists such as John Patitucci, Pat Metheny and Medeski, Martin & Wood.
Located in Dallas, Texas, the trio is available to play area clubs, restaurants and other public venues, as well as private functions from small gatherings to large gala events.
